Western Spirit Comes Alive

Our community came alive with western flair this August as we celebrated our inaugural Sterling Ranch Days. Held over two days, August 9 and 10, the event welcomed residents and guests to enjoy western-themed family fun, friendly competition, and live entertainment across Providence, Ascent, and Prospect villages.

Family Fun and Friendly Competition

Day one kicked off with plenty of excitement for families. Children tested their grit at mutton bustin’, while others found their zen at goat yoga. The Lamb Spring tour brought history to life with lessons about Colorado’s Ice Age past. Later in the day, neighbors came together for the Family Ranch Challenge, where teams pitched tents, tossed hay bales, and tried their hand at roping. The evening wrapped up with a lively concert in Prospect Park, where music filled the air and set the perfect tone for the rest of the weekend.

Parades, Pancakes, and Community Spirit

Sunday morning started on a delicious note with a pancake breakfast at the Sterling Center. As neighbors enjoyed their plates, our community cheered for the colorful Saddles & Spurs Horse Parade. Riders and horses wound their way through the streets and trails, showcasing western style and spirit before parading past the Sterling Center.
